Looking good for a movie car. If your going to produce such cars or kits, you have to make it drivable, i mean, you have to make sure that the visibility is OK, add headlights, etc... Keep up the good work and please update us with the progress.

Thanks - car is COMPLETELY drivable - has hidden headlights(retractable headlight doors), excellent visibility - the photos are a bit deceptive but it's 100% drivable... thanks for the info - Russ

    Very wild creation.

I am sure it will catch the eye of lots of people at Knotts. I will be interested to see what the Knotts response will be for you. Good luck with this. Always good to see someone stepping out and away from replicas to create/finish something different.

    Some questions:

What is the powerplant? (How big is the electric motor?)
Is it custom chassis or is it built on a donor vehicle cut way down and the electric motor adapted to a trans?
Any idea on range, speed and acceleration?

    Good luck with your endevour.

    Cheers
    Don

Thanks for the positive... although we're going tube chassis, it was designed to fit a stretched fiero... Still working out the details on the electric motor and controller and all - guestimates are 0-60 in 3.6, 1/4 mile in about 12 sec.

We'll know more in a few weeks - cutting it close, but we really want to have it done by the show -

Very interesting. Wasn't this car for sale on Ebay a little while ago? I don't like the rear end though. The multiple fins don't jive with the overall aerodynamic look. The tail light treatment should be changed as well. Maybe a single thin bar going all the way across rather than the multiple round portholes.
Even the longest journey begins with the first step.

I'm curious why you would say that... this cars 'twin' is at the Volo Car Museum, is 100% drivable and street legal, and is for sale for 300k.
