    RUNDLC's murci engine cover

I thought you guys might like to see a mock up of my murci engine cover. It still needs some work but my vision is just about there.

    Comments welcome

I think you did a great job on the layout. The fuel rail cover looks just fine, not to wide, and not to narrow. I cant wait to see it all painted up and attached. I dont think anybody would ever question if its real or not. Great job on your handles also!

Nice! What are you going to dress it with to simulate the Carbon fiber? Can those carbon fiber films take the heat of the engine bay?

The cover looks great. Will you be producing these for sale as well?

Thanks MM, faker, tommy & sac.

MM, I want to add to the center piece so that it has the same look as the oem. Will this template work for you? I want to get it started asap if you can squeeze it in.

Tommy, I am not making these pieces, you need to talk to MURCI-ME. I would love to carbon fiber the sides, front & center cover in carbon fiber, just can't afford too. At the moment, they will be sprayed with the liner stuff. The plenums will get sprayed hyper silver, then black.

They look very nice, high detailed pieces, as you say, need work to finish, but I think you are in the correct way. Congratulations, good job !

Thanks, but all the props go to MURCI-ME, he's the one who molded them. I am just installing them in my car. The guy did an outstanding job making the pieces. I am hoping he'll do the center cover as well.
He has an eye for detail.
