    Murcielago Key

What fun would it be without the key!!!!?? There is a slit that you can fit a key in but I would have to drill a small hole to secure it with the pin that came with it. I am thinking about getting an Audi ignition with an audi key as it should be similar and put it on the Mr2. How difficult a task would it be changing from a Toyota ignition to an Audi?

Also the plastic is still over the Lamborghini emblem that's why it may look weird. It appears to be a metal sticker who can copy this or make some runs of these stickers? Maybe we can get these things a little cheaper then what I paid for it.

    Nice granite work bench.

I think it would be easy to make once you locate an emblem.

HA! Thats the kitchen table! I think if we can get someone to run some of those metal emblems it should be fairly easy to make without spending hundreds like me! I had to have the key though and I am sure many more people will want it if we can make some affordable sets.

Thats the real key. From the dealer you need a vin number and a lot of money. That key chain you posted can be had a lot cheaper on Ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/AUTHE...spagenameZWD1V

    Re: Murcielago Key

I attended the IRL race at St. Petersburg, Florida over the weekend. There are vendors that travel to all of the IRL races who sell small tie tacks, ear rings, cuff links and pin hats. They had Ferrari, BMW, Lotus, Lamborghini, IMSA, IRL even Alpha-Romero. I paid $7 for a Ferrari pin. They had the 3 for $21. When the races visit you part of the country, go enjoy the races and pick up some of the emblems of your choice. They are going to Long Beach California next.

I think they would work for the application you are making. Had I thought about it at the time i would have picked a few of them up for you. They looked to be the same emblem you have pictured but in fired enamel on a medallion.

    Just a thought,

    Dave
