FERRARI REPLICA FOR SALE ON EBAY????

Hey guys, does anybody know or have a personal experience listing a Ferrari replica on ebay? I want to place an ad for my 360 on Ebay next weekend. Is it true that ferrari will shut down the auction? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

They shut down my auction... don't use the word "Ferrari" anywhere in the ad and you SHOULD be ok... It seems they pick and choose which they shut down and which stay up.

Re:FERRARI REPLICA FOR SALE ON EBAY????

Is it best to place the ad around 6:00 p.m. pacific time on Friday, so that the ad can be exposed atleast over the weekend. Or do these ferrari guys work on sat & sun as well? I'm just looking for the longest exposure possible to the big EBAY market. One more thing, does ebay refund your money if ferrari shuts you down? Thanks for the feedback.

Re:FERRARI REPLICA FOR SALE ON EBAY????

    This is Ebay's position:

It is very possible that Ferrari would request that we end the listing
for a replic through our Verified Rights Owners' (VeRO) program. Unless
the body is licensed by Ferrari, it will probably infringe on their
    copyright, trademark or other rights.

Vehicle designs and logos are generally protected by copyright and/or
trademark. If the product you are selling bears the design, name or
    logo
of a company, but it wasn't made or endorsed by that company, it
probably is an infringement to sell it.

Infringement on someone's copyright or trademark rights can cause the
potential for liability. I don't know whether Ferrari's lawyers press
this issue or not, but it is a definite possibility.

As with any item that has the potential for copyright or trademark
infringement, you might want to consult the rights owner to see if this
particular vehicle was made under license. Rights owners are always
better prepared to answer these questions.

Thank you again for writing. We truly appreciate your time and effort
    in
keeping eBay a fun and safe place to trade.

    Regards,
