    WHO MAKES/SALES FIERO HEADERS

    trying to find out how many different manufacturers make/sale fiero headers. i feel this is good info for every body to have so lets find v6 and i4.

    i saw this pic and it got me wondering...do any big companies have an old part number for fiero headers that they dont advertise but is still available? are we stuck with the niche group fiero specialty stores and their high prices?

    equal length(almost),standard fiero routing. i saw these on pennocks and think the builders name is Doug Chase??

    i know OBX makes an iron duke(i4) header that is reasonable. are there any others out there?

    Twilight Z;

    The only ones I know of are V6 headers from West Coast Fieros and possibly the Fiero Store. I am making a custom set for my 3.4 DOHC motor as I can't find any commercially.

    Cheers

    The only two I know of are the following three. Of them, I bet that the Trueleo would work the best. They seem to put in the most engineering and are the only ones who post dyno charts. The biggest problem for the Fiero is the intake. Trueleo has posted the R&D of their Fiero intake on Pennock's and it seems to be the best one out so far.

    I question how much hp you can make with a Fiero with headers. The stock intake is that bad. The cheapest way to change the headers is to grind the stock headers to match the engine block. For reasons beyond me, GM built the Fiero exhaust with smaller diameter holes than the block. Before doing this, you should run a couple of searches on Pennocks Fiero Forum and see how people have done this.

    i have done the stock header porting a few times and the previous owner had already done it to my current fiero. it is good for about 7hp and free. i also have a fix in the works for the intake system to get it flowing.
