    Countach stuff, (lots of it)

Mad man Martin sez, SELL, SELL, SELL!!! The time has come to clear out the garage of leftovers from 2 attempts at a kit based biz, the second was AREA-51, as advertised in Kit Car Builder mag for a year. first up the molds. These pics were taken back when I built the molds, if somebody is truly serious about them I'll take the time to pull the molds out and get current pics.

Three bodies have been pulled from the set and one set of parts are still in the molds, if somebody wants to buy the molds with the parts in, I'll make a screamin' deal on them.

The first body out of the molds was used to finish my prototype, this car. The plug started out as a body that I aquired in a biz deal gone bad (that never happens in the kit world : that I spent more than three years fixing, there isn't a single surface that didn't get reworked, many more than once, the roof for example got reworked 3 times before I was happy with it!!! (My ocd problem is your gain)

    And body #3

Check out the reflection in the body.

There are a couple of areas that I took some artistic liberties with, in the front I never liked how the nose rolls into the bumper so I flattened it out some the windshield area was reworked to accept a cut down Ford Aerostar windshield (a part of each body package and the mold set will include a fiberglass template for cutting the glass), each body will also get a set of billet door hinges, that I have and the rest will go with the molds, I'll post pics of the hinges latter today.

Other tweeks to the body are, a one piece rear deck and trunk, that I swing with a third gen Camaro hood hinge (it's easy to cut the part and make two parts out of it if you like) and the rear tail light panel takes Samuri tail lights (a little fiberglass work and it'll take the right parts.

Body kits, $4,000, both for $7,000

body mold $6,000, with body $8,000

Will also consider the following for partial trade, '84-'89 Trans Am , '84-'86 Honda CB700SC Nighthawk s

Here are the pics of the billet hinges.

The pivot pin is stainless steel, it pivots on bronze-oillite bushings, is held in the center piece w/ 2 set scerws and the channel is formed to fit over .125 wall 3/4'X1-1/2" box tube, I have hinges for both bodies and 2 sets to go with the molds.

    I know you from MilehighFiero's.

You told me a few years ago about your countach kits. I planned on doing one for my 84 but sadly the enconomy took a s**t and my prioritys and budget changed.

You truly have an amazing kit, Good luck with sale. If I had the money id be driving up to denver to pick one up right now.
