    speedo gauges HMMMMMM..

Well I just got off the phone with John Rudl in Ny.and I was ready to plop down $800.bucks for his gauge package and wiring harness that goes with it .BTW this is for my F40 kit. Anywho I ask a couple of questions like what the speedo goes up to and the tach well the speedo only goes up to only 160 mph.Tach goes up to only 7 grand .Ferrari horse silk screened on speedo and tach.only. Well I just don't know what to do any more about this gauge situation.I was hoping for at least 220 mph speedo I guess I could live with the 7 grand tach.Soo what has every body come up with for there work of arts? I and probobly every body that has not got to interior part of there car yet are curious as how this challege has been conquered would love to see pics .

I know this isn't exactly Ferrari related but:

The Lambo people at KitCentral have had a hard time fnding their 220mph gauges. At one point they were going to do a group order from some mnfr in Germany but, as far as I know, it fell through. Anyway, Ray at IFG (www.ifgonline.com) made them custom gauges like this one:

I also heard something about Canadian Customs doing their own gauge kits.

Personally I haven't seen any other (non VDO) analog style gauges go up that high.

    Good luck!

Well, it is kind a tacky using stock Fiero gauges with a horse on them, but FOCOA has a 200MPH conversion for the Stock Fiero Speedo... V8 Archie use to also but I wouldnt know if he still does. The people at FOCOA are asking our patience while they move into their new building. But call the number at their web site and give them a try. Late and early work best. (They are on West coast time)

Personally, when I figure out how to get the instrument cluster from a 97 and up c5 into a fiero, thats what I'll use. I'll make my own horse stickers. 8)
