    Re:Wonder what the reserve is???

    I'm confused....

I thought Vector was a stand alone manufacturer like DeLorean was... Yet here, I see not only a Lambo engine but the words "1999 SPCNS Diablo Kit".

Am I to understand then, that this M12 Vector is a Lamobghini Diablo "Kit Car"?

I was completely expection to se the Vector W-10 or a new version, the W-12 in there...

Forgive my stupidity... I guess I just didn't keep up with the Vector Incarnations.

    http://www.vectorsupercars.com/
    "ENGINE
    Type: Aluminum alloy 90-degree V-8. Displacement: 6.0 liters. Horsepower: 600+ @ 5700 RPM. Torque: 600+ ft./lbs. @ 4900 RPM."

the W-3 is twin turbo v8. all the cars are custom made so it
wouldnt be surprising to see a lambo engine inside. i am lost
on the models made by vector since they all varied so much..

the lambo engine was definitely not new when it was put in.
just looking at it, it looks like its been around quite a bit.
    8800 miles is nearly new.

whatever it is, it's just a high budget, well made kit car.
the engines varied alot since i've seen v12, v10, v8
supercharged, v8 twin turbo, and even a w10 which came
    from who knows what car..

    Re:Wonder what the reserve is???

That car definately is not a kit car. The early Vectors (W-3)were built with a twin turbo V8, but after they bought out by the company that owned Lamborghini at the time, they put Lambo V12s in them.
I don't know why it says Diablo kit on the tag. Maybe that was a way to avoid crash tests, etc. It is kind of an expensive car to crash test. If I remember right, when new you could buy a new Diablo for less than one of these.
