Is that a kit or a real 355? The real 355 top won't work on a kit. Several people have tried to modify them to fit with less than desirable results. Good price though!

Looks real.........notice the little do-hick-eee on the door at the back of the side window that the real 355s have.
I plan on adding that little do-hick-ee on my car to me that is a dead giveaway, that is a real top.Originally Posted by sactodreamer

But hey now that it's mentioned has anyone ever thought of a way to make the do-hick-ee. HAHA, I think I just like saying do-hick-eee, ooooop there I go again................
Sorry about that, it's friday (last day of work for me before the weekend), I start loosing my mind by the end of the week. ;D
Its friday!? :Where did weds, thurs go? anyways... we need a link to the convert top info. anything!
The do-hik-ee I was going to build out of aluminum and bend a channel on the window edge so the weather stripping would have a place to fit. haven't gotten that far either. been thinking about it though.
Any info on the new top setup would be much appreciated!

no it is not a kit it is a real car but there is a way to convert the top to a kit it is not hard just use the
design that they used on the real car and ajust it to fit the 355 kits it should not be hard but would cost alot
unless you got a metal fab guy or someone that could weld it up for you all it is , is a motor and rack system
so it should not be hard to fix it to fit
how big is the do hickee and could someone get a better picture of it for me i cant see it
if i did i could carve it
Listen, if these guys say its near impossible...rest assured its near impossible.
These are some of the craftiest people you will ever meet.
Theyve tried for years. Anything can be done for a price. If the project is $5K its simply not cost effective.
anybody seen one of these?
