    Bob,

I found a V6 computer. I will bring it with me when I drop off my hood to you.

Computer problems are pretty rare, but it doesn't hurt to try. Mostly, it's the wiring/connectors/sensors.
    Whats your problem?

Bob had a guy named Jim Cleary swap out an engine for him. The new one worked great for a week then died. Jim said the old engine was bad since it had a slight miss in it that developed after Bob purchased the car from me. (it was the 88 that I built for my daughter) Bob thinks he hosed the computer because he did some welding on the car. I think it was a loose connector to begin with.

    Anyway, That's the story.

The bottom line is.some of the injectors are fireing speratically.Weve tried new injectors and new injector harneses.Same problem.I droped the gas tank, cleaned it out and replaced the sock, and replaced the filter(again) The engine harness and computer are the only things left that we can think of.

I once heard of a story about a guy with all 6 injectors of his v6 clogged, I guess the Florida weather is hard on them. But seems you have already worked around that with a different set of injectors.

Is it the same ones over and over again that fire speratically?
The computer only grounds the injector, they are feed power by the fuses in the fuse box.
One fuses feeds 3, another fuse feeds the other 3. Are you having trouble with a group of 3 maybe?

Well since you are having trouble with a group of three, I would suspect an electrical problem, wiring possibly.
There is a single fuse that runs those 3 injectors, as well as a single wire that goes to the engine. From there they are all 3 spliced together inside the harness.
If I was you I would start with a test light and work your way back.
