    WTB Shortened Fiero Steering Column

    Hello all

I'm looking for a shortened Fiero steering column. Shortened between the mounts. Does anyone have one or know of anyone that can shorten one.

    Thanks
    Paul

Am I correct, it appears all I have to do is bang the bracket down and bang the shaft down as well? If that's the case I know what I'm doing this week end. Thanks for your help.

Thats all there is to it! Make shure of your measurements before you start, and keep an eye on it as you go.

I could only shrink my Fiero column by approximately 2- 2.5 inches. I suspect if you need 5 or 6 another method should be used.

If you're not confused, you're not paying attention.

Would this be the best method to do this? The collapsible steering column is a safety mechanism that we are eliminating. For the sake of safety is there another way to do it?

I was able to shorten mine the 3 and 3/4 inches suggested by Euroworks, with the method mentioned on Lambo lounge.
