    Has anyone experience with plasti dip???

    I've red abou it in a newspapaer article and i think about buing the big kit....
    and i'd just like to have some comments about it, has anyone used it bfore?

    I work with it regularly in making firearm furniture. It is tricky to work with on firearms if you want long term results. On cars, I am not sure what you're planning to use it for. It is good for some things, not so good for others. I put up a tutorial on how to use it in handgun grip making. You can see the video below. It might give you some insight in to it's usefulness in automotive. Not very well made but it's iinformetive.

    For general use of sealing rubber, I would suggest you look in to http://www.smooth-on.com/

    Their silicone rubbers are very strong and long lasting as are their plastics. And their silicone rubbers can be used to make plastic molds which I am sure you guys have PLENTY of use for. Most of the molding you see mythbusters do is done with smooth-on products.
