    You can see the lowered console area in this pic. The tallest part of the steel console structure is below the top of the seat cushions. I Still have to make the console. -Vinny

    Its mid-winter here, not much you can do outside. I started drawing a rear cradle using Corvette C5 Suspension and the Boxster 5-speed. The dark lump is an Audi engine. Happy New Year to all.

    Hey Vinny;

    You are going for longitudinal? Outstanding choice. If you are going Audi all the way, this fellow, engineman, over on Pennock's shoehorned an A8 drivetrain into a Fiero longitudinally without a stretch. I think he has come over here as well. He can probably help you with electrical etc.

    Keep up the great work.
    Don

    Hey Don. yes, that's the long term plan for this car. It needs upgraded brakes anyway. I did follow that Fiero/Audi build as it was also on GT40s.com . Really a feat he pulled off. With my 7'' stretch I hope to not have any forward angle in the axles and zero clearance issues at the firewall. We'll see. Still mocking it up.

    Vinny,

    Hope you are doing well. Wasn't sure if you had seen my PM from a couple of weeks back... regarding headlights.
