Fiberglass molds, tooling, fixtures - '53 MG-TD Replica

I have fiberglass molds (26 individual mold sections) toconstruct a replica of a 1953 MGTD. These were built in the early ‘80’susing tooling gel on the mold surface, with multiple layers of hand-laid glasson the mold outer surface. All mold surfaces are in excellent condition.Supports for the molds are of wood and metal construction. All molds havebeen stored inside for many years. The basic body/doors/hood all havethe same dimensions as an original TD and parts could be used on an originalcar. The fenders have been widened 2” on the inside keeping the originalprofile intact. This was done to allow for a wider track and betterhandling of the kit car (used Pinto/Mustang II front suspension and rear axle).

Included is the frame jig for building the frames using 2x4rectangular tubing and a Pinto/Mustang II front cross member. Alsoincluded are the fixtures/tooling to make all of the necessary small metalparts including bumper supports, steering column mounts, brake pedal supports, original style folding top, and misc. pieces. Included are the matchplates for sand casting windshield supports, and headlight supports. Includedare some windshield extrusion pieces to be cut for windshield frames. Included is also the press for forming the top & bottom windshield framesfrom the extrusions.

Also included are drawings for the chassis frame and many of thecomponents, plus some extra bodies and body parts along with 3donor car.

    Asking $5000.00 for all
