    CNC Work?

    Hi All,

I am new to the forum here and wanted to introduce myself.

Do kit car builders have a demand for CNC work, or are most kits using off the shelf components?

I have a small shop and do a lot of CNC work, both in aluminum as well as composites. I love a good project and am a total car guy, so if I can help you out on your project drop me a note.

    Kevin

If you need to prototype a part in foam or create a plug for a fiberglass mold I can help out with your build.

    Hi Kevin,

What axis cnc do you have and what is your table cutting dimensions?
Please add some images of your work if you can.

    Thanks

    Hi,

The mill is a 4 axis machine with a cutting area of 17x12. The router table cutting area is 40"x40". I have done larger aluminum parts on the router table, it just takes a bit longer. Here are a couple of pieces I have done.

More can be seen on my website as well as a tour of the shop there.

I compete in the Optima racing series, and am a car guy, so I love a good automotive project.

Let me know if you have any questions.
