    foam for fiberglass work

i figure this is a good place to post this...

i'm building a custom vehicle, and i'm looking to put in a custom built interior. what i'd like to do is mold the shape from foam then wrap the foam in fiberglass to make the dash for upholstry.

what foam should be used and what are some typical places to aquire it?

another option is to custom cut a 355 interior, anyone have the dimensions of the dash, center console, and door panels so i can look at that option?

also anyone selling the interior kits on here, please reply so i can check out your costs and quality

    cheers!

also, i'd be interested in the same size information for the Diablo 6.0 interior as well as any vendors here.

I can't help you with the fiberglass or 355 interior dimensions, but DKOV sells one of the best interior kits around.

Here is a link to another interior thread:

There's at least one other foam topic if you search for it.

that is not what i am looking for. That is a liquid foaming agent to fill boat hulls. I want a block of solid foam that can be molded and sanded then wrapped in fiberglass to make a dash

    cheers!
