F50 Body on NSX - What kind of foam?

    Hi All,

I'm sure many of you have been to this forum and seen this amazing transformation from a NSX to an F50 replica - http://www.j-body.org/forums/read.ph...=54674&t=54674

The question I have is - does anybody know what kind of foam / material they used to create the body and where it can be purchased? Although the replica is not exact, they did a fantastic job and the lines & overall build quality looks fantastic!

WARNING - The site is very image intensive and anybody with a 56 connection will have to wait 35.87 hours for the images to load.

    Thanks

    SK

it appears to be simple and common urethane foam, and if you look closely, it was coated with something before bondo (my guess is a hard coat of some kind, you need one when using urethane to protect the foam from the resin).
