    tap shift

Well the isuzu transaxle is going out on my ebay Murcielago, so I'm replacing it with a 4t65ehd and will be very interested in the tap shift replica stuff. From what I've seen of prices for interior parts so far it sounds as though the interior might cost more than the original kit. Is this reality raising it's ugly head?

Yes, I bought a transmission controller from Ryan Hess. I will be able to shift by tapping buttons or wire it to a paddle switch on the steering column. Ryans was $200 and as far as I know he no longer makes them, but trans controllers can be bought for about $600 and the paddle shift set up for another $600 or so.
