    Alternative Donors.

    Whats up guys,

I'm Alex from Singapore and I have been researching on the building of a kit car here in Singapore. I really do wish to build something along the lines of a 360 or Murcielago but I have a problem here: donor cars are scarce AND expensive. Most i've seen use either Pointiac Fieros or old MR2s, cars which are very rare around these parts. Could you guys suggest someone who builds replicas of Murcielagos/360s/430s etc. on more common sonors? Really, any suggestion will be fine.

Also, the regulations on car modification here are strict as hell. Stretiching the wheelbase and such will be tricky to get around, installation like the DNA 3Sixty is most convenient.

    Thanks for your time,
    Alex

Hi Alex, i'm from a country that just near u. Not only stretching a body is illegal, kit car itself is illegal here.
u might want to grow your balls bigger to own and drive it illegally.
u will also aware of the difficulties to sell it later at the way it is later.
the best donor for singapore cars is MRS if not mistaken
as i believe most of the MR2's(if there's any in singapore) had been butcherd as salvage at this age.....
but try not to built a murcie out of the MRS...here is a bad examples...the yellow one...
picts courtesy of Murcie-me aka the kitcar guru...hehe..

but seems DNA make a good F430 kitcar out of it..

    good luck...

Yes i'm quite aware of the MR-S. What country do you come from, I have enquired with the transport authorities and they say that kit cars may be built and registered under the donor name IF no safety-compromising modifications are made. The DNA $Thirty is one that i've been considering but I wanted to see my other options, Thanks for the reply through.

    Anyone else?
