Looks lke the ABB MCB-10 is just the number for the control block. But maybe this link may help, there is a technical info link to a pdf file as well.

According to the side pics, X1 and X2 are illumination, so one to earth and the other either lights live or ign live
and 3 and 4 are switch wires so what ever goes in 3 comes out of 4 while button is pressed. This would go to power a 30AMP relay that you would have to be fitted inline of your starter motor switch wire.

If you try fitting this without a relay it will just burn out as the switch is only about 6-8 amp
    Hope that helps

Shouldn't all starter circuits already have a relay in them? Surely the ignition switch doesn't go directly to the starter. I couldn't see what the light voltage was. Is it 12vdc?

Switch is one like I wire up on a daily basis, it is rated at 120v ac to use this with DC you will have to switch out the bulb. Other then that, Migwell is right about the wiring order.

If you tap a ignition hot to "3" and then run a wire from "4" to the small post on the starter it should start the car.
I'd also just run a jumper from "3" to "X1" or "X2" which ever is on the same side as "3", so the light only comes on when you are able to start the car, this way the light does not sit there burning while you are not driving your car.

    Re: engine start button

I believe I have a pdf file of the fiero wiring diagram someone once gave me on my other laptop. If anyone does not hook you up by tonight I will take a look. My guess is you'll have about 30 folks offering it to you by then anyway, should be an easy one.

    Any headway on your build?

a simple way of finding out is to do a sort of a continuity test.....i doubt I spelled it right. Turn the ignition on with the battery off , load the line going to the starter solinoid with the required voltage then check the wires in the steering colomn and see which one has 12 volts.
