    Re: F40 muffler

Here is whats on my car:

Looks like it is just a dual outlet muffler with a dummy pipe welded in between the two real pipes. I will know for sure once the car gets here and can take a closer look at it. As you can see to get it to fit the trunk was cut in my car. I'm not saying this is the best option but it's the one the original builder of my car came up with.

Interesting, I have been wondering if the trunk was considered "structural" in the Fiero, is it not? If it is, did you do anything to add additional support in the rear or is it not needed?

if you go to viciouscrx f40 build you will see the car dissasembled, i left the structual parts on and might weld a square tube along the one part

Hello heres a few shots of what one of our customers did. He made a stainless bezal around the opening, used a dummy pipe in the middle. Bent the tubes from the Flowmaster 80 (Camero stlye) inside the lower rear facia. Thanks Norm

Thanks Tony thats great and nice to meet you and your better half. Its funny, but I always get messed up when I put the real person with their User name. Im easily confused.

Luke, the trim you can get from any auto body paint supply shop. Though I prefer to paint the black on rear section and use vinyl electrical tape (yes electrical tape) inside the groove around the rest of the car. Thanks Norm
