    Haartz stayfast/sonneland or Cambria

For all you convertible toppers out there, what have you guys used for FABRIC top material. I know this stuff is 70-100$ a yard, so I was thinking that I could make a cheap canvas top before using the expensive stuff, but where to buy black canvas? Comments? Thoughts? Thanks, Eric

    Eric,
I brought mine to a custom top shop. The guy used the same material as on a Mercedes (not sure what style that was). It cost me around $400.00 for the top, installed. Not sure if that helped at all....

I purchased Haatz Stayfast for $35 per yard at the local top shop. It was the end of the roll. 60" wide 36" long, 2 yards did the top. Make sure you mark the direction of the grain or it will look like two different colors.
If you're not confused, you're not paying attention.
