How to convert fiero wheel bolt patterns to 5X4.75

i am looking at getting a set of new rims for my diablo roadster and want to convert the bolt pattern to a gm 5X4.75
it's way to much to pay to have a set of custom rims made and i would like to run corvette rims .

so what is needed to do this or can it be done ?

    thanks

    Dave

    Dave,
I will assume you are using a Fiero as your donor and an 84 - 87. I am not sure if this info applies to an 88.

    To convert the rear, http://www.fortunecity.com/skyscrape...h/67/id205.htm

    For the front :http://www.fortunecity.com/skyscrape...h/67/id216.htm

naerc was using S-10 wheel bearings in the rear of the replica chassis and Corvette C-5 knuckles in the front. Same pattern.
On naerc's Fiero conversion kit, he was using S-10 2 wheel drive front steering knuckles if I am not mistaken.

    Jim,
Do you have any more info on this? I've been looking at this conversion myself. Thought I was onto something unique after a trip to the local salvage yard.

When I visited naerc in the summer of 2004 he had the beginnings of the upgrade kit on the bench. It was S-10 knuckles with parts cut off near the caliper mount. The C-5 vette caliper mount was adapted to bolt on. The rotor was machined off the hub so the C-5 13" rotor could slip on.
He may have changed this before offering it for sale but that is what I saw.

Thanx Jim, The stock 11" rotor and dual piston caliper is perfect for me. I'll have to investigate further. You did'nt happen to get any pictures, did you?

i did not know but i was doing my own trial an error so here is mine

s10 1" drop spindle s10 cut down hub an surprize the zo6 14" rotors has the same bolt pattern as the s10 hub ,i also have billet caliper adapters for the zo6 calipers over the 14" rotors they came in last week it took 3 weeks to get all the measurments straight now i will have some extras cut i will be using 14" 0n the rear as well so i have to make a new bracke for the nAERC HUB CARRIER
In the USA if you pay a company / person to start a plug, then it,s your plug and work ,it is not theirs to sell or trade !!
