Can anyone make a fiberglass "twin" of my car body?

I have a customized body and would like someone to make duplicate panels. How much would this cost?

Some picts would be helpful, what type of car are you asking about? The question is rather broad. It depends on how complex the body is, and many seperate panels would it require etc. Its kind of like asking how much does it take to build a kit car? That could be anywhere from $6,000 to $60,000 plus.

There are many people and companies that can make molds for you. The quality of the final product is relational to the quality of the mold. The mold must have zero flex to it. This mean thick walls and lots of reinforcement.

Without info it's just a guess. My guess would be us$8000 to hire a shop for a month plus $3000 to cover supplies.

Wow. Maybe I should start small. Here is my first attempt at pics. The reason for the question is that I started making changes and kept changing my mind, so now the engine cover, as an example, is one inch thick in places and weighs about 75 pounds! Maybe some estimates on the engine cover only?

This is what I have so far. It started out as a modified G24. I added three inches in front of the rear wheels, added the giant scoopy things and reworked the front and the back.

Also I figured out how to make the pics smaller .

I started a little web site about the project - http://www.insightcommander.com/Build
