    Fiero turn signal lever help.

I need a new turn signal lever for my fully optioned 86 Fiero. The prices are from $10 to $100 [OEM] on Ebay. Also some sellers advertise an 84-85 or an 86, or an 88. What are the differences?

If I remember correctly, there is no difference between the years. The big difference is if you have cruise control or not. I can say from experience that the $10 ones are junk and you do not want to do this job twice. I get mine from rockauto.com. I trust Rock Auto over eBay people any day. You might want to check out Pennocks for more information.

I have a brand new turn signal arm that I bought for my build from the Pontiac dealership, and then ended up not using it when I installed my Sebring column. I paid $80 for it, and it has CC. I'll sell it to you for $20, shipping included. LMK if you want it.

Word of advice BEFORE you remove your old signal lever. Attach a piece of wire (very securely) to the flat wire terminal connector that threads through the steering column and then pull the turn indicator wire back through the column. If you don't, threading the new turn signal lever wires are a PITA to thread back through correctly, essentially you have to disassemble the steering column to do it right. I have done 4 columns in the last year, only the first one did I not use a chase wire (learn the hard way the first time)
