    need help on my window

I have a small dilemma I thought you guys could help me with and give comments. I have a 1989 25th anniversary Countach replica.
I have windows that do not work in my doors(solid glass). I would like to have them go down like a real countach (3 inches)and I've found
a guy that can do it. This guy really knows what he's doing and will do it right , and I also have a one piece deck lid
that he will divide into two. That's all for $2,500 and he'll do touch up if something happens to the paint.
What would you guys do--would you spend that kind of money to do your windows and other work or would you try to upgrade
your a/c and your defroster? The moral of the story is that it's a hot box and I'm trying to cool it down some how---THANKS AGAIN MAD MECHANICS

If you can afford it, I would do both. Have it crank down and have the AC working. Just my 2 cents.

Is this a stretch countach? I wouldn't put too much money into one a stock fiero w/b car. I have had one and they look terrible. Assuming you have something decent like a euroworks or prova, I'd definately consider the roll down windows. Just enough room to stick your hand through to mail some letters at the post office

It's a pain in the butt not having a window to lower and I personality could not live without ac. If you put your efforts into it you could do it yourself and give yourself a pat on the back for your accomplishments plus save money to boot. If you don't want to take the effort and are basically lazy. Pay to have it done.

We are all here to help each other. No one knows it all and many have different methods of accomplishing the same things. I learn by just doing it and figure it out along the way. Usually when I have someone else to do a job they screw it up somehow. At least if I do it myself, I can only blame myself.
