Has anyone tried using this lights for the ferrari build???

    Hi,

I am trying not to spend $1000 on Ferrari lights for my F40 build. I found this honda accord altezza lights and someone told me that I can remove all the plastic exterior and end up with just the round portion of the lights. The pair for this light cost only $110... You can't beat that... Anyone has any experience with this lights????

    Thanks

You can get the red 308/328/F40 lights from NSX here on the site. (Carlos) I got a set of 4 for my 308/288 GTO build from him for $150. Problem is, all 4 are red with the white centre piece and they are the lenses only so you would need to build the light mounts etc. for them.

You can also get the amber lights from Rodney Dickman as he sells replacement Mera tail lights. I have not checked into how much they are yet though.

You will also need to cut the centre out from Rodney's amber lights and put in the white centre pieces as well. Someone on here recently updated how to do that, I think in Technical Discussions area.

You should be able to get a good set of replicas for a lot less than $1000.

I have two spare red ones now that I bought four red ones and only needed two.

$75 plus shipping if you want them.

    Cheers

I searched on ebay for honda accord altezza tail lights and the closest I could find to the ones pictured was 92-93, but they didn't look the same.
