    R1 Engine Conversion

Hi there I nhave recently bought a Tiger Cat E1 and im planning to complete an R1 Engine conversion on it. My friend has an early R1 which he crashed and i was considering buying it off him.

My Question is what other parts would I need to purchase to complete the build. and where can I buy them?.

Are There any web sites anyone has come across that have an in depth guide to fitting one?.

    Any Help would be awsome

    Cheers

    Dave

    I recommend asking that on locostbuilders.co.uk. They're more into bec's & 7 style replicas!

I was wondering that same thing too, planning to run dual Gxsr engine and mate the tranny with a coupler, like the the guys do with dual V8 in their rat rides so they are running a v16 in their car. Was planning to put this swap in to one of my builds for that lovely high pitch sound every one lust after!

i believe it was them who did a twin(side by side) engined ultima. it had awd and used a computer to keep the bike motors in sync. one powered the front wheels and one powered the rear
