    GM 4.3 L Syclone

Hey, this is a great sight. I have been reading and taking notes for my own build coming up in about a year or two. My thought is what about a GM 4.3 Turbo charged Syclone engine in a f355 kit fierro chasiss? Will it fit? Will there be to MUCH power? My friends dad is ASE mech. and he told me when I was ready that he could build a somewhat of a daily driver 4.3 and it still make about 350 to 400 hp . Can the fierro frame handle that? Any ideas and coments please.

The guy dewey is speaking of is Vortecfiero (or something like that). He posts over at Pennock's (http://www.fiero.nl/cgi-bin/fiero/Ul...i?action=intro). The fiero chassis can handle a high power engine, might need a little reinforcement, but it can handle it. The problem with installing the 4.3 is that it uses the Chevy bolt pattern for the trans. So it does not match the trans in the car. For the cost of the adapter (V8Archies or whoever), you might as well put in the SBC V8. A much easier swap with similar power potential would be the 3800 SC. Not to mention it might be a little difficult to locate a turbo 4.3. I'm pretty sure they are quite different from the stock 4.3, so throwing a turbo on a stock motor probably wouldn't work too well..
