    Lamborghini Horns - Suggestions?

Anyone have any suggestions for Lamborghini horns?

From what I'm seeing on LamboStuff.com the OEM horn are actually reasonable at under $70 for a set (low and high tones).

    http://www.lambostuff.com/xq/asp/yea...catalogTav.htm

    Items 24 & 25

These are listed as "Fan Fare" horns which I'm guessing is a fancy way of saying "Italian sounding horn". ;D

This seems to be a direct one for one Fiero horn replacement minus modifying the two wire connectors?

    Thanks,

    Chris

Fiamm dual airhorns with metal trumpets is what Lamborghini uses, at least for the Countach, but semi sure they still do...I just had two trumpets powder coated for the candy apple red.

I agree "Fiamm dual airhorns" I have this on my Testarassa kit and they sound very Exotic, just like a Lambo or Testarassa.I baught mine from Harbor Freight Tool.My trumpets are plastic.Cost about or under $25,depending where you buy it.

The Diablo does not use the Trumpet style horns, The horns I have came directly from Lamborghini Italy specifically for the Diablo Roadster, they are OEM Lamborghini part and not after-markit part. I also just verified that the above horns are used in most all Diablo's with maybee slight variation in parts and specs. Hope this helps.

sorry for the misunderstanding, I meant the the Fiamm airhorns with the metal trumpets are oem for Lamborghini, at least the Countach for sure..you have them pictured above, at least the box for them. Unless Lamborghini changed their ways with the later Diablos,I don't believe the Roadster to be an exception, but I could always be wrong ;D, you'll find with a bit of research, that most if not all Lamborghini's used other makes and models for all things internal electrical wise..mostly Lucas from Fiats, Alfa Romeos, Lancias, Jaguars, Mercedes, Rover SD1's and various other makes and models..I should mention that trying to find the metal trumpets is fairly rare now a days, but to get the exact sound you have to have em...

    Cheers,

And "Fan Fare" is the name of the "Taa - Dah!!" sound that we are all so familiar with.
It used to be real trumpets announcing the entrance of royalty, champions, etc., now it's just used on Microsoft Windows sounds. LOL ;D

anyone have a sound clip of these horns? Mine has the plastic trumpets and the pitch is a little high for my taste. I wouldn't mind hearing a comparison.
