Fiero with Testarossa kit Tail light question

It is a non stretched car Fiero and a good quality Kit. The Tail lights have come up missing and I am trying to find out what type of tail lights they used. I believe they looked like Mercury Capri tail lights. Can anyone help?? I am also looking for a front bumper and hood, so any help with new or used would also be appreciated, thanks

Re: Fiero with Testarossa kit Tail light question

Well thanks, I have been on many forums dealing with offroad mini buggies and just found this site for the kit cars. Lots of info on here!! Seems to be a great site.

I did find the answer on this site after I posted this and yes you are right about the tail light itself, now I need to figure out how to make the bars that go across the lights, any ideas?

For the record, the stretched cars used 87-88 Nissan Sentra taillights. They're pretty close to the real deal. Not sure if that's what you're looking for though.

You could make the taillight grill from sqaure metal tubing. Bending the ends might be something a welder/fabrication shop could do for you.

I made mine from 1/2" square solid steel bar. It is so much easier to bend the tight radius on the ends with solid than tubing. It's cheap too. Yes, it's a little heavier but not bad at all.
