Re: Finally got my auto doors working...

Thanks for the comments. The doors are real easy to pull down, Im thinking I could even go with a little bit stronger lifts. When the windows are atleast 1/2 the way up (or more) the doors pop open 98% of the time off the remote. If the windows are all the way down they dont always pop open when I hit the remote, sometimes it does, sometimes it wont. The door poppers I just put on are just not strong enough to push the doors up when the windows are all the way down all the time. Im going to give it some time and see if the door seals loosen up, if not I will buy some better door poppers.

CCIE- I promise if I ever have to take my door panels off or have to get inside my doors for any reason I will take alot of detailed pics and video for you to see how I did them. I know your having problems with your doors and I wish I could be more help right now. Its just real hard for me to explain how I did mine with out some kind of visual reference. All I can say is that Im by no means have any special talent when it comes to building these cars. You just have to dive into it and make it work and try to make as simple as you can. I know you can make yours work, if I can do it anybody should be able to do it. Go for it- I have faith in you!

Says the guy who built this really awesome Diabo in like 5-6 months, including the paint :P

I'd say its safe to say that Luapynot has some skills

It takes ALOT of dedication, time and money to put these things together , not alot of super skills. I just so happen to have all three of these elements during the build of my car. Now that Im almost done- Im lazy, have no free time and broke......

    LOL!!!

Well, at least you got your car (almost) finished before you got "lazy & broke, with no time. Most Kit builders get to that point before they finish and just sell the project at a loss. ;(

    Congrats! You're car looks AWESOME!
Almost makes me want a Diablo.
