    IVA Approved Parts

    Mad Mechanics!

Is there a website that specifically sells IVA Approved Parts???

I work for a company releasing a new (1930s Style) kit car this summer and want to provide a list of 'IVA approved parts' along side what actually 'looks best'.

I would be very grateful for any pointers!

    Thanks for the reply.

I'm specifically asking for an IVA approved list of parts, not just a massive website with everything on. I've spend most of the week emailing half of these companies and had enough really. I'm asking if there is an IVE EXCLUSIVE LIST so i don't waste any more time!

you best read up on the IVA which you can purchase off KITCAR magazine or buy the last 2 years back issues or get the manual off MOT as it covers everything in that. Its not part specific. Its a set of rules that the parts used have to conform to like sharp edges, protrusions, bolt heads etc. Its just an open mine field.

My sentiment exactly! Demon Tweeks and SVC have been very helpful, I guess it really is going to be painstakingly part by part!!!

I think i'm going to open up www.iva-approved-parts.com!!!

LOL! Yeah, that undertaking is going to be laborious. I doubt there will be too many jumping at the chance to steal your idea. LOL!!!
(Of course, that means there might actually be a small profit to be made from doing what no one else wants to spend the time doing.)
    Go for it!
