    3800sc in a Diablo

For those of you who have a 3800sc with a auto trans in a Diablo (streched Fiero) what all changes on the motor did you have to do for a proper fit? I know when Fiero owners do this swap they have to move the coil packs, oil filter housing, ect. Since there is alot more room in the engine bay what all needs to be rearranged??

Im not very happy with my sbc setup in my Diablo Roadster. It just has too much power for the Fiero trans and I really want to go with a automatic trans...

I didn't have to move anything at all. Just mounted it right up with PurpleReigns mounts. Only thing I had to do really was to purchase the other oil filter adapter and change it out. It placed the oil filter in a differint angle so it didn't hit. My coil packs are in the stock location on the motor.

I took out everything in the engine compartment, welded some motor mounts, lowered my v8 350 right in with lots of room left over..strut mounts same place...what i did though is i took out the bolts that hold the engine cradle and welded it to the chassis and put a stablizer/sway bar across the compartment.

For a little more you can have an an aluminum v8 with a slightly stronger auto than the 3800sc. You should give the ls4 consideration.
