    355 OEM Speedometer

I am wondering if anyone can tell me if a 355 OEM speedometer is compatible to fit in a Fiero. Will I have to make a lot of adjustments to make it work properly, or will it simply not work at all?

    Re:355 OEM Speedometer

Does anyone know if VDO makes a grey faced 7 gauge set with the speedometer 200mph and the Tachometer 10,000rpm? IF so please let me know. Even if is another brand I would be interested. I went to www.bugsandbuggies.com and they have a VDO All American Wings set but it is only 6 pieces and the speedometer only goes up to 140mph. I'm building a 355 with black and grey interior and wanted something a little different than the black faced gauges. Any leads would be greatly appreicated.

    Thanks

You can't fill a gas tank from the bottom (?!) from a regular gas station because you would need to seal the gas pump nozzle and force the gas upward, then vent the pressure from the car's tank as the gas enters. Or drive to LAX and ask to use their pressurized aircraft quick connects, if your car will run 110 octane AVgas. Man, this concept sounds kinda shaky to me. "We have a green light to 105% throttle Challenger 1. " The interior looks good though - I'll be watching if anyone gets and installs it, please post pics! Good luck guys.

My last reply referred to Stewart Warner color gauges with grey colored faces in a rag from the news stand called Street Rodder. www.SW-Performance.com. They mentioned Dolphin Gauges as well with colored faces. www.dolphingauges.com.

    Hope that helps you,

    Dave
