Question 355 build on a fiero, stretch VS no stretch

    Hi all

First of all, sorry about my poor english

Been looking in "builders d....." to find some pictures of 355 based on a fiero.
Like to see the difference between stretch and no stretch.

Does anyone got a link to pictures with stretch and no stretch??

    Thanks

    /Klasse

My AD355 is a no stretch version. At the time my thinking was that I could avoid cutting a Fiero in half and rewelding it back together. Now they just stretch the cradle and move the struts back. Either way is good. The difference between the stretch and non stretched versions is that the non stretched version has the rear wheel well moved forward 3".

That depends on the brand of kit you have. Ad355s have the 3" difference split between the front and rear wheel wells so it as not as noticable. Taking an 1 1/2" off the front fender behind the wheel well and took the same amount off behind the door and the rear wheel well. The rear bumper is extended a little to keep the overall length the same as the real car.

    Thanks for the reply.
I like to see some pictures of an fierobased 355 with no stretch, be glad if you can help me with that.
I want to see the proportions without stretch.
Have seen lambos based on a fiero with no stretch and I did not like it.

Dratts1, cant find your build in "build diaries".

To see an awesome finished AD355 non stretch car look at Deloren's build, or Brastic's build. They both have build diaries and neither has the extended windshield (option at the time to extend the front windscreen about 7" and have it slope more like a ferrari.

    Been checking some prices:
    AD355 kit 8000USD
    Shipping to Sweden 2000(?)USD
One crappy piece of junk fiero in Sweden 3000USD (if i'm lucky).

    This project got to wait

Make some small changes to my expensive fiero instead
