    lol another strech question

    hey im new to the forum and the seach wasent helpin me too much so im thinking of buying this f355 kit and it requires a 3" strech so when I cut it what do i have to do on the bottom of the car? (ill prolly have to replace brake lines, gasline etc.) right? whats the list of stuff i have to do?

    Brad look through the site. The easiest way to do a stretch on a 355 is to modify the cradle, not cut up your frame.

    No:

    I did not extend a thing when I did this move with the exception of replacing the water hoses and a custom exhaust.

    hey guys thanX for the info now would it be possible to cut the body kit 3 inchs if i didnt wanna do the stretch? and if i took it to a shop how much would it be around for them to do this (if rather do it right then have my car sideways down the street

    It has been my experience that if the kit is from someone who builds good kits like John Watson for example, only the wheel well is moved ahead 3 inches. The kit is not shortened at all. The main body stays the same length.

    Hmmmm so i wouldent be able to cut it in front of the back wheel well? and any rices on how much a price would be for cutin it up and puttin it back?

    I would think that if you would have a problem cutting and moving a wheel well, that you should not be building a kit in the first place. Cutting fiberglass is very easy and when the kit is fresh and unpainted, the process is straightforward. You need a saber saw and a small grinder along with a little resin and fiberglass cloth.
