    Clutch replacement

    My engine seal on the clutch side (86 2.8 V6) is leaking a bit, and causing mild clutch slippage under heavy load. Have all the new replacement parts. Here is the question: The car is an F40 and I can remove the whole rear deck hatch, giving me a wide open access to the engine and transmission. Is it relatively easy and possible to pull the engine and trans out the TOP without having to remove the cradle and rear suspension from the car? Sounds like a lot of extra hassle dropping everything out from under the car. Any problems with this to look out for? thanks in advance, Steve

    If memory serves me correctly, it will be so much easier to remove out the bottom.
    I don't think there is enough room between your strut towers to make it happen.
