    Ferrari key reprograming question...pls help

I bought this oem f430 key... Just for the heck of it, to see ifi can make it work for my build... It has a remote built in it for locking/unlocking the car...

Asside from having a new key cut I want to see if i can make the remote work for a peugeot...

Does any one know if it is possible to reprogram the signal of the key to make it work on another car?

    Cheers!

Just take out the Peugeot key guts and stick them
    In the Ferrari key

So when you press the button its just like pressing the Peugeot button

Well... I hear what you say.. and I wish it was that easy... I would have done that... But the circuit plate of the peugeot is much bigger then that of the Ferrari...

probly not, if it was that easy to reprogram it, you could reprogram it to any car and unlock every car you want. i think you basicly need the peugeot board whatever you do, however you can try to make the peugeot board smaller by starting with a new breadboard and try to solder every diode and resistors and antennas directly onto eachother.

Open both keys up and lets see a pic of what you have to work with. If your not good with electronics maybe you can find a friend that is.

    The transmitter is a HCS200 / SMO421

When googling "HCS200" there is info on this chip... It is the transmitter...( the one with the 8 pins)

Maybe i can solder the peugeot chip in its place?
