    Fiero dash removal

Anyone have experience with removing the dash in an 86 Fiero? Any suggestions would be welcome.

First remove the "pod" where the radio and HVAC controls are and the instrument (speedo) pod. Remove the dash speaker grills - there are 2 long screws (with 7mm heads) under each one near the windshield holding the dash to the structure near the windshield. Lastly, there is a 10mm screw near the fuse box on the driver side and another on the passenger side next to the floor light. The should be everything.

You can make it easier to move the dash out if you remove the tilt adjustment handle on the steering column (it screws out) and the turnsignal stalk (pulls out). When you put the turnsignal stalk back in, be careful because it has keyways that need to align before it can be pushed back in.
