one of the many public criticisms of my car are the side sills/air intakes that
run the length of the lower car. I remember when i made them i didn't have a
clue, and i have to say i still haven't got a clue how to make them
again!
They are a complicated shape and the function by pushing air through
the side and into the oil cooler etc.

The 2 parts of the car i hate are
the bonnet/hood and these side panels.

i have an idea to resolve the
front and rear panel, I will make a veneer of (for the back) carbon fibre and
for the front GRP dead flat on a large sheet of glass and epoxy bond them onto
the existing panels. Even if i have to take some of the existing panel off. I
did this on the sides of the car and it worked well, using epoxy resin and
boding on like Formica worktop covering when i was a kid.

I will make a
vacuum pump from a diesel vacuum pump and a electric drill and make sure the
carbon is nice.

For the side panels i was thinking of doing similar, but
cutting out sections of the rippled panel and bonding in new dead flat panels.
Unless someone can offer a good alternative to make these panels from
scratch!

I really world appreciate some help here please
folks!
