What to use an where to get material to make inneer fender wells for F355 body Fieros

I need to make bigger inner fender well panels for my F355 body Fiero car. Does anyone know what material to use and where to get it.?
Also, where to buy wiring for VDO Speedo to use in 1985 Fiero.

The most popular way for inner fender wells is to buy a 4x8 sheet of 1/8" Black ABS plastic and make them. Make a template from chipboard and transfer the pattern to the plastic. Cut out with jig saw and mount with plastic Christmas trees. You may need to also bond some mounting tabs in various places to mount them in place.

On my last project car I used part of the original fender wells, trimmed them down as needed and added the ABS to extend them to fit the correct contour.

You can also use a heat gun on the both the original pieces as well as the ABS if needed.

If this doesn't make sense ask questions and I'll try to be more specific.

    Good Luck........

2015 Circle Track Parts And Accessories Catalog Here is a link for the black ABS. Try to find the 4x8 sheets at a local race shop supply or order the thinner rolled plastic that can be sent via UPS. Much better to cut with a plexiglass hook knife , scribe and fold on the line , make a nice clean cut. jigsaw blades get all gunked up when the blade gets hot , makes a fussy cut.

Yes, that would be Russ in Grants Pass Oregon, when he did his IMSA wide body build.
Was going to suggest that, but wanted to provide a link to the build thread with pictures, but when I looked it up, all the pictures are gone, so didn't figure it would be much good without the pics.
Anyway, here's a link to the thread on Pennocks, but the pictures are mostly gone, and I didn't take the time to pinpoint the page where the inner fender section is featured.

IMSA widebody installation - Russ style - Pennock's Fiero Forum hope the link works...

I laid up the IMSA body that Russ used, it was the first body I did personally out of the notchback IMSA molds we got from Jim Sutter at IRM.

I thought the garbage can use was genius at the time, but that's how Russ rolls....he's built some really nice rides over the years, and is currently finishing up a 59'Chevy build on the Corvette forum.

    HAGO!
