    Hydrodripping

Anyone on here tried hydrodripping? I'm curious as to how well it turned out. I'm sure it depends on who's doing it but, on average, are the results pretty nice?

From what I have seen it's a fairly simple process. As long as you have a steady hand and have a large enough tub so you don't bump the part while dipping it you should get a nice result. The only real drawback is you only have one shot at it. If you goof it up you will need to strip it off and do it again.

Please post some photos if you should decide to give it a try.

I'm a big fan of hydrodipping and about to have a motorcycle gs tank and rims dipped. I have seen diy kits on the market.

I have dipped many things. Here is one of my bikes

Just think of it as base/clear paint job with an extra step between.

I like that wood grain look. Very different...

I see Alsa is offering the material available by the foot.

I have been meaning to try my hand at it. My buddy does it with guns and some of them look really cool.

I have to admit, looking at the results in the photos above, I'm getting sold on it. They look great!
