How do I make windows function in a Murci based on an MR2 Spyder?

How do I make windows function in a Murci based on an MR2 Spyder? Any ideas?

Is there a kit for this? Or is this a hack it together yourself sort of thing? Or is it not even possible?

So basically leave the windows up permanently? I suppose there are worse problems to have in life.

    How "expensive" is "expensive"?

Spal makes a window kit that is pretty awesome. It will work on pretty much any curved or flat window. Google them. I build a 32 chevy with them.

The problem isn't making the windows go up and down, you can get parts at the salvage yard for under $100 to make that happen. The problem is finding glass that will fit. With the odd shape of the roadster glass, there is no donor glass that will fit, you are either stuck with using OEM glass at $1700 each side and then a ton of work and money to change the door to make them fit, or find someone (AGP?) who makes aftermarket glass that will fit.
The real work is in delaminating the door, installing the tracks and motor, then re-glassing the door and repainting.

My build was the first Murcielago kit to have working power windows, and that was because I paid over $2k to have custom tempered glass made that would fit the G28 window opening. A lot of other people have used plexiglass or Lexan, but that screams "kit car" in my opinion.

I thought people were using Saturn coupe door innards so they can use the existing glass and power window motor

I feel like there are lots of options out there. There is the last celica. 2006 civic coupe or the 2016 civic coupe and more i cant think of at the moment.
