    Simple Sports Car/Frame Design

Finally 'punched through' and came up with it.

    Anybody interested let me know.

Now we are ready to talk to 'Master Fabricator' in San Diego/Tijuana.

Will share this with Mad Mechanics members.

Like Don Prudhomme who actually would tell how he get early dragsters to go fast.

    Guess it's an Evangelical leaning.

    Looked into posting on Github.

Frame is simple kickup perimeter frame.

Difference with T frame is it is wide at rear.

Then it tapers an firewall to front cross member that is more or less narrow like T frame.

    That's the big breakthrough.

I just wasn't 'getting it' about being able to taper the frame.

Was making frame rails parallel like T or sprint car.

I need to start that website on Github!

Pictures. This sounds like it limits the choice of engine and body to a large degree.

    "choice of engine and body"

Drivetrain. Lots of choices. 4 cyl up to big block.

Body. Sorry. Your stuck with simple sportscar body with cycle fenders.

Body must match frame. That constrains it.

Full fenders? I will let someone else come up with those.

Here's link to a Bucket T perimeter frame.

    perimeter frame

Sportscar frame will be kickup type like this.

    http://www.eztbucket.com/Welded-T-Bu...Frame-7003.htm

Difffers as it is wide in rear and tapers to front crossmember.

    Will check upload again.
