It's cold I'm bored and as long as I had the front axel crossmember, spindles etc powder coated all pretty and nice I'm gonna polish the aluminum rack and pinion unit to a chrome finish, but I don't want to do that to a unit thats no good. When the units on the bench and you turn the nub that would be connected to the steering wheel, there is a noticible lump-lump as the unit turns. Do they all do that or is this a sign of a unit that is not set up correctly or worn out????
