    DKOV - 355 20 Gallon tank?

    Hi DKOV,

You seem to be the expert on real Ferrari's. I was wondering if you knew where the real 355's fit their 20 gallon fuel tanks. Most people I have talked said there is no way to get that size tank in a Fiero. I know Spyder has an additional 5 gallon tank so thats one solution. Please enlighten us all.

He also added to smaller tanks that drain into this one.
How far are you planning on traveling with out stopping for gas??

Expert? I don't think so... but I DO know where the fuel tank is...

Look out!!! It's right behind you!!!

That's right. Right behind the seats. The extra 5 gallons for the Spyder is a result of a slight shape change to allow for the convertible mechanism.

C'mon... give me a HARD questions

As an aside... I plan on using a 12 gallon Fuel CELL on my 355 and placing it in the trunk. That way, I can lower the center console area for a more exact match on the Interior. Plus, I can race the car

Hey RCR - that looks pretty good. Can you give us some details like how big it is and where you got it and price? Was it hard to hook up?

I agree... RCR, that is a GREAT idea for a fuel cell.

Although, it does look a bit... "busy" up there, I have been racking my brain trying to find a way to add more weight up front without just strapping on ballast. Other than the fact that the weight balance will shift as fuel depleats, it makes PERFECT sense!

    Very interesting...

He was talking about the tank I did.
I only put a 5 gallon in the nose, as a just in case to get me to the next gas station tank.
I installed a fuel line solenoid and it switches tanks by a flick of a switch.
I have an external fuel pump which made the install simple.

Sorry guys, wish I could tell you more, but I saw the pic as I was looking around on another board. I remembered this post so I threw it up. I'm still in the "I wish I had the money" stages of my project

    Here's where I saw the pic: http://www.kitcars.com/Projects/Proj...?Project_ID=59
