need help/advice with cutting Fiero frame...

I need to remove the t-tops from my parts car before it goes to the wreckers.. but I've never cut a frame before, and I still don't have the front roof panel off, or the windshield out..

any suggestions? how do I remove these parts and cut the frame? I've borrowed a sawzall, but need to buy a metal cutting blade for it.. any suggestions would be appreciated, the chassis must be gone by the end of this month.

    thanks in advance!

Hi, Cutting the frame isn't too bad. Make sure you keep it in line when you cut. We tac welded a peice of angle iron on the top and side of the upper frame before we cut. This keep everything in line after the cut and once the stretch was welded in we just broke off the angle.

Now as far as the roof, I recommend putting in the reinforcements prior to doing any cutting. Once you do that the cut about 3" from the front winshield. Hope this info helps

P.S. Go to Home Depot or Lowe's and get a metal cutting blade for your saw zaw. I used a 18 and it cut fine.
