On the outside of the bucket holes, duct tape a sheet of wood or thick cardboard that's been wrapped in several layers of Wax Paper.

From the inside, rough up the surrounding area and lay in new fiberglass cloth and resin and fill up the area level with the inner body to maintain overall thickness.

After it hardens, pull the outside cover and fill any additional spaces as needed. Let cure.

    Sand smooth and prep.

That's how I'd do it... but who am I?

why are you removing the pop-up headlights? i think they add to the stylish lines...when the door is up ,headlight up etc.... they are a pain ,but worth it.

Pop ups are a pain... that's why I desided to go this route... I just have to finish the detailing and away I go...

I would be interested in the popups if they are cleaner
then the ones I have..and digital pics and price?
I paid 50$ once before for pods that I sold to another
guy. (wish I would have kept them cuz they
were better then the ones with my (newer) kit)
