Do you need longer axles for the widetrack suspens

For the held motorsports kit, do you need to use longer axles?
    Thanks,
    Ari

    hey ari------
    your buddy in denver here
....... depends on what trans you have in the car; i just did a 3.8 v6 w/auto trans using 4" held suspension all around; i used a fiero's manual 5 speeds' unit on the passenger side as is ... and had an axle shop make one up for the driver side for me [both ends on gm cars ,i think, are all same spline sized, so measured thru the bore the extra length i needed & had them pull a stock shaft off the shelf to make it up; $us 115 and one hour later........ it was in the car in 15 minutes.

also did a 3.8 w/5 speed from a z24 cavalier, but w/stock ssuepnsion too; used deep offset rims and 3"plus billet adaptors to fit these; used a stock auto trans axle from a fiero for both sides & worked perfect.
